About the business

Our client is one of the leading global freight forwarding and logistics service provider and due to recent developments, they are looking for a logistics administration to join their operations team. Reporting to Operations Supervisor your role will have the responsibility of the full functionality of logistics administration on hands on basis.

About the role

  • Data analysing, Data entries of importing/exporting products
  • Ensuring high standard at all times while keeping the standard pace.
  • Monitoring and accurately releasing delivery order
  • Managing vendors and forwarders in origins and destination in Australia
  • Coordinate with key contact points and receive pre-alerts from origins, ensuring proper shipping documents and propriety of details
  • Monitoring of all SEA or AIR shipments activities
  • Manage and release D/O for all destination local operators/transporters from port to W/H with proper clearance on customs and monitor closely on trucking/delivery status
  • Regular reporting of unusual operational incidents to management and provide KPI report to clients as and when required
  • Analysis KPI results and provide data analysis for management, with solutions to improve overall daily operational processes

Skills and experience

  • Passionate about logistics and supply chain
  • Previous experience working in Logistics Coordinator role is desirable but not essential.
  • Proven attention to detail and the ability to multi task
  • Intermediate Office Suite skill (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Proven communication skill with highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Be punctual and possess a professional attitude
  • Be highly responsible and reliable
  • Report writing skills are essential
