About the Role

This is a 12 month maternity leave position working 76 hours per fortnight.

As Customer Service and Administration Officer you will be responsible for:
• Providing administrative support to the Service Manager, Clinical Nurse Coordinators and other staff as required;
• Acting as initial point of contact for residents, contractors and visitors to the service;
• Directing telephone enquiries appropriately;
• Ensuring the reception area and related work spaces are maintained in a orderly fashion;
• Undertaking filing, document preparation, mail distribution, ordering, billing and banking as required;
• Updating the maintenance register as well as room booking requests; and
• Undertaking project work and miscellaneous duties as required.

Critical to your success in this role will be the proven ability to demonstrate
• effective and professional interpersonal and communication skills
• intermediate skills in MS Office applications
• excellent problem solving, time management and organisational skills

In addition you will
• have previous experience working in a similar position
• be comfortable working in a small team environment on a wide range of simultaneous tasks and changing priorities
• have a bright and welcoming demeanour
• maintain a positive Federal police check and Australian driver’s licence
