We have an extremely busy reception and we are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our 2 person team. 

About the role

You will share responsibility for all aspects for Reception including;

  • Answer all incoming calls, interpreting requirements in an efficient and timely manner. 
  • Meeting and greeting all visitors.
  • Booking and maintaining meeting rooms.
  • Manage facilities maintenance requests. 
  • Ensure the Boardroom kitchen is maintained in a clean and presentable manner.
  • Keep staff updated via email communication as required. 

Finally, you will be a positive influence within the office with a hands on, get the job done approach to any and all tasks. 

About you

This role requires an impeccably presented, professional, confident and highly organised person who will share responsibility for our  'people interactions'. 

You will understand what it takes to leave a lasting positive impression and turn any and all interactions into satisfying experiences - no job is too big or small. 

You will have the ability to manage conflicting priorities, dealing with a high volume of incoming calls whilst responding to visitors and staff queries.

You will be able to remain calm under pressure, display patience and humility in your dealings with people and have an enthusiastic, positive and flexible nature. 

You will have solid experience in a similar busy environment (ideally financial services or property) and be able to demonstrate; 

  • The ability to work in a team,
  • Superior relationship management skills and customer service,
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills,
  • Intermediate MS office skills,
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and service,
  • A strong customer service ethic, and
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
