Byfields are the largest WA based CPA firm with 11 Directors and over 75 staff. We operate through seven offices, with head office located in Belmont, and rural bases in Northam, Merredin, Narrogin, Wagin, York and Beverley.

An opportunity exists for an experienced Client Services Administrator to join our friendly, professional team at our Belmont office working within our Self Managed Superannuation Fund division.

Your day to day duties will involve, but not limited to:

  • General typing of correspondence.
  • Liaison with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), and other third parties
  • Set up, update, reconcile and maintain MYOB Viztopia & BGL database on client particulars
  • Collation of client documents and preparation of signing packs
  • Process audit packs
  • Generate reports from MYOB Viztopia and Class.
  • Processing Income Tax Returns and Financial Statements
  • General administration duties
  • Lodgement of statements with ATO
  • Coordinate with Accountants and clients: Fixed Price Agreements
  • Maintain a Fixed Price Agreement register for all SMSF clients
  • ITR Lodgements

This position demands a fast, efficient, methodical person able to handle several tasks at once in our team based environment.

  • At least 12 months experience in a similar finance or administration role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with Self Managed Super funds (SMSF)
  • MYOB Viztopia (desirable)
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Sound time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise your workload.
