John Holland, with joint venture partners CPB Contractors and Ghella (JHCPBG JV), have been awarded the contract to deliver the $2.81 billion second stage of Sydney Metro, City and Southwest, Australia’s largest public transport project.
With a new crossing under Sydney Harbour, the 15.5 km TBM tunnels will run from Chatswood, through the CBD and then to Marrickville. The project includes building complex underground structures for six new stations in Crows Nest, North Sydney, Barangaroo, Martin Place, Pitt St and Waterloo.
We are currently seeking an experienced Administrator or junior Personal Assistant to join our team. This role will be supporting the Construction Managers and will be responsible for administrative support, to the executive broader team.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage the day to day activities of the Construction Managers.
- Oversee and coordinate diaries which will include scheduling and calendar planning.
- Monitor and respond to communications promptly.
- Provide administrative support, such as preparation of correspondence, presentations, marketing material and reports for current and potential customers.
- Manage financial records such as expenses, invoices and purchase requisitions.
- Prepare, coordinate, review and disseminate month-end (and other) reports to relevant personnel.
- Coordinate aspects of internal and external meetings, preparing agendas, taking and typing minutes and distributing to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate travel (including international) and accommodation arrangements.
- Provide accurate information and customer service to the client, external vendors, subcontractors and community stakeholders.
- Treat sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
To be considered for the role, it is essential that you demonstrate the following:
- Certificate II, III or IV in Business Administration or similar would be an advantage
- 5-8 years’ experience in an office environment
- Experience providing support at a senior level
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of relevant software such as Microsoft office suite
