Job Description
Banyule Community Health Client Services and Infrastructure Team seeks to employ a Casual Receptionist/Administration Worker to provide high level customer service to clients, staff and visitors to the local community. Company Profile:
Banyule Community Health is an independent Community Health Service with its own Board of Directors. The Service provides a comprehensive range of primary care, dental, welfare and social support services from two main sites, one in the heart of West Heidelberg and the other near the shopping precinct in Greensborough. BCH was awarded Primary Health Service of the Year (2014) and General Practice of the Year (2014). The administration team provides information and support services to the community and staff.
The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Operate the main reception telephone system and respond to customer enquiries on a one to one basis
- Screen clients, manage appointments, handle alterations, cancellations and appointment reminders
- Complete daily administration tasks and provide support services to staff
The key skills required for this role include:
- Ability to manage a busy reception desk with competing demands
- Ability to operate multiple electronic client management systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills including the ability to interact with diverse, demanding and challenging clients
