Our client is a long-established Accounting firm with multiple offices in Brisbane. This firm provides a wide range of accounting, taxation and advisory services to some of Queensland's leading businesses.

This is an excellent opportunity for a career-driven Administration Assistant to continue to grow with a leading and well-known local firm! On offer is excellent training and additional career progression opportunities, up to Senior Administration roles. Additionally, staff currently studying an Accounting-related degree are able to secure a graduate Accountant role, upon completion of their studies!

Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Reception relief of answering and directing phone calls (when required)
  • Booking and organising meetings for the Accountants
  • Data entry of client information in MYOB software
  • Liaising with the ATO on a daily basis
  • ASIC compliance work
  • Collating tax returns
  • Debtors management duties


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in an administration role in a large, professional corporation; ideally within an accounting, banking or financial services firm. You will have experience with completing most tasks this job requires, and intermediate abilities in MYOB and Microsoft Office applications. You will be a self-starter, highly driven and able to pick things up quickly to achieve results swiftly.
