Senior Receptionist - Office manager, The Sports Clinic, University of Sydney.

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Medical Receptionist for a busy reception/administration role. The clinic is a private multidisciplinary Sports Medicine practice based at the University of Sydney.. The successful applicant will work as part of a team to efficiently provide administration and clerical support, allowing the smooth running of the reception and the clinic as a whole.

If you are an enthusiastic person, who is highly motivated with good organisational, communication and people skills then this is an ideal position for you.

To be successful you must have the following skills:

 

1. Have previous Medical Practice experience

2. Be Friendly and Reliable

3. Be Punctual

4. Be Responsible

5. Be a Team Player

6. Previous Front Desk Software experience is advantageous.

Your Duties will be to :

1. Be Responsible for Reception and Reception staff

2. Ensure the appearance of the practice as a clean and professional clinic

3. Plan and allocate work for the reception team

4. Organise staff rosters

5. Train reception staff on an ongoing basis

6. Perform all reception duties when required including, amongst other things, greeting patients, making bookings, taking payments, small amounts of typing and answering enquiries.

7. Order and keep a stock take of essential items for reception and individual practices

8. Be responsible for the banking of daily takings

9. Maintain the financial performance of debtors

10. Organise monthly payments of doctors' wages

11. Other admin duties as required
