We distribute multiple quality brands to the Australian market such as Airco, Senco, Otter and Colt Compressors and Generators.

An opportunity currently exists for a detail orientated, results driven and highly motivated Customer Service Officer who takes pride in getting things right first time every time.

Based in Dandenong South, the successful candidate will be part of our small and friendly Customer Service Team responsible for providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, in this challenging yet rewarding role.

Main duties include:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls and developing strong relationships with customers to assist in identifying and solving issues.
  • The accurate and timely processing of orders and raising of invoices.
  • Processing the release of back orders once stock transfers or shipment of goods received.
  • Assisting with telephone product and order enquiries. 
  • Processing of customer quotes approved by Sales Manager.
  • Updating client databases and carrying out general administration tasks.

To be successful in this role you must have a 'can do' attitude, coupled with the drive and determination to succeed, plus be able to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of two years' proven experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Fast and accurate alpha and numeric keyboard skills.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship building and assesrtiveness skills.
  • Concern for quality combined with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Word and Excel. SAP experience an advantage.
  • Experience using database management systems.
  • Ability to use own iniative and to work under pressure.
