The Role
The Administrator is a key player in the VIC Hire team, providing critical support functions to the Hire & Operations Manager. As you are the first point of contact for the business, your exceptional customer service skills are critical to ongoing success as is your ability to multi-task and prioritise.Reporting directly to the VIC Hire Manager you will be able to utilize previous experience in delivering all administrative and operational procedures to ensure successful outcomes for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- First point of contact for all hire general enquiries
- Managing customer enquiries via phone and online
- Drafting and providing quotations to customers
- Creating and processing of daily operational documentation, including invoicing, raising PO’s, hire agreements & reporting
- Assisting with the preparation of drivers daily run schedule
- Assisting with stock takes
- Management of all Hire products including VMS board programming
- Completing all end of month procedures and processes
- General administration duties and support for the Hire Manager
Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years administration experience
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Syrinx)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Coordination of fleet, products and operational logistics experience
- Good attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced small team environment
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work unsupervised, use your initiative and have a hands-on approach
- Have your own reliable transport
