Overview

Provision of document control as part of the project team to within major project delivery and document control setup and management to smaller projects at a group level.

Role Responsibilities

  • Receiving and recording technical documents including drawings and specifications
  • Liaison internally to coordinate document movements
  • Transmitting project drawings and documents
  • Maintain a filing system that supports efficient information management
  • Coordinate storage and archiving of project and organisational records
  • Plan, supervise and record document flow to and from all necessary parties
  • Collects and stores file from various disciplines
  • Maintain a central project control system, covering project team, client, vendor and third-party documentation.
  • Reviewing, compiling, scanning and filing documentation

Key Attributes/Skills Required

  • Significant experience in a similar role preferably in an engineering or construction environment
  • Knowledge of contractual requirements of document flows, document control protocols and electronic document management systems
  • Experience working with Aconex, Teambinder and ProjectWise would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills across both verbal and written mediums
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Office and excellent computer skills
  • Excellent time management, prioritization & organisational skills
