Randstad are currently recruiting for a savvy Community Programs Officer for a great government statutory authority. This role is a full-time temporary position starting ASAP until October 2018, and is located in Port Melbourne. This is an ideal role for a candidate that can work autonomously as well as part of a team, and has a strongly developed sense of initiative to ensure they are able to make informed decisions quickly and efficiently.
The role includes the following tasks and accountabilities:
- Phone and email responses to stakeholders - internal and external
- Handling community queries, booking requests, enquiries regarding community engagement and education
- Pick and pack of merchandise
- Vehicle arranging and packing for staff to take to events and programs
- Engagement and booking of staff to attend events and presentations
- General admin and team assistance
- Data entry
Excellent communication skills and organisation to be respond to queries in a timely manner is a must. Previous experience in a similar role within a government department would be highly advantageous.
Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM.
