An opportunity as arisen for an experienced Document Controller to join a firm that specialises in providing turn-key solutions to a broad range of heavy industry customers across Australia. This position is being offered on a permanent full-time basis and will be based in Adelaide. Operating in a high risk working environment, this firm is proud of their strong commitment to their clients, safety and quality service delivery.

As the Document Controller, you will play an important role of controlling all information in and out of the organisation in accordance with the document management process. You will provide support to the project teams by tracking project design registers to ensure deliverables are met.

Your day to day responsibilities will include;

  • Developing and revising of templates
  • Providing progress reports
  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors and subcontractors to obtain the required technical data
  • Producing all manuals and other relevant documentation
  • Assisting with the tendering process for new projects
  • Assisting with the development of training packages
  • Supporting the organisation with a variety of other administrative tasks
  • Maintaining data integrity through document management systems
  • Ensuring that all documents meet the organisations standards before issuing

To be successful in this position you will be able to take ownership of your role, you will be a problem solver and a logical thinker. You must be confident and willing to educate other team members of the correct document control processes and you will have an exceptionally high level of attention to detail. In addition to the above, you will have a minimum of 2 years experience in another document control position, have proven experience working to tight deadlines and will be committed to improving internal systems and external service delivery.
