Practice Manager (Podiatry)
Beyond Podiatry is looking for a Practice Manager to provide overall day to day management, leadership and operational expertise to it's four clinics located in Lake Macquarie and Newcastle. You will be required to ensure systems, processes and procedures are running efficiently as well as manage an outstanding supportive team of employees. You will also be required to assist with the general running of the practice and cover front desk operations and treatment coordination.
This is a full time position Monday - Friday
The salary offered is negotiable and based upon previous skills and knowledge.
The duties and responsibilities are:
- Provide overall supervision and leadership to the Podiatry and Reception teams
- Ongoing monitoring, training and performance management of staff
- Provide ongoing planning, co-ordination, monitoring and evaluation of all aspects relating to the practice and implement improvements/changes where necessary.
- In conjunction with the principal, monitor income/expenses and create reports
- Nurture and continue to maintain and develop strong relationships with referring practitioners
- Appointment co-ordination and control
- General reception and administration duties
- Payroll, bank reconciliation, and other weekly financials
To be successful in this position, you will have the following attributes:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or supervisory role within a Healthcare setting
- Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
- A high level of competency in relation to computer software programmes
- Proven business development and marketing skills
- A high level of communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with all levels of staff and clients
- Previous experience using appointment software (Frontdesk is an advantage)
- Previous experience using accounting software (Xero is an advantage)
