In this position you will provide a wide range of administrative support services of some complexity to facilitate the effective operation and function of the work area. Reporting to the Team Leader Catering, the Administration Officer must be able to work both as part of a team and autonomously to ensure the Catering Unit is provided with effective administration support.
Responsible for providing a wide range of administrative support tasks to the unit as required. Contribute as a team member towards achieving best practice in the smooth and efficient delivery of all administration support functions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- SAP input for payroll and/or finance
- Payment of invoices and petty cash
- Project support
- Coordinate meetings/conferences
- Training requirements
- Communicate effectively with management, staff, suppliers and customers to ensure a productive and harmonious teamwork environment
- Provide any other assistance as directed
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Strong Administration skills
- Must be organised, flexible with a mature attitude
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Hospitality /catering experience (Desirable)
