We are looking for an experienced Business Services Manager to join our Business Services team in Sydney.

This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the role

You will be required to provide leadership and operational management to the Business Services team in Sydney, acting as the first point of contact for Business Services and Premises enquiries. In this role you will actively seek out ways to add value to the workplace experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leadership support to the Business Services Team to achieve all elements of service offering within established KPIs.  Services that fall into Business Services and Premises include;
  • document production, printing and stationery
  • mail and courier services
  • records management
  • fit out maintenance and repairs
  • security
  • accommodation planning and relocations;
  • crisis management and business continuity
  • budget reporting
  • productivity/sustainability statistics and trend analysis
  • Business Services process improvement, support and delivery of national initiatives in Sydney;
  • Undertaking research and analysis into best practice service delivery by engaging with competitors and service providers
  • Actively managing Sydney accommodation requirements and coordinate other Shared Services functions to deliver in a timely manner
  • Coaching, supervising and developing staff by way of training, cross training, multi-tasking and mentoring

 

What experience are we looking for?

  • 5+ years’ experience in business management including business improvement process drafting
  • Experience within a professional services firm or corporate environment
  • Project management and contract management experience
  • Strong people management and development skills
  • Experience with aligning new services to new fit outs
  • Advanced influencing, negotiating and change management skills
