A rare and exciting opportunity has come up to work with one of Australia’s leading textile design studios. They have been creating luxurious custom designed rugs. Working across a broad range of areas their client base is wide and varied and the office itself is very supportive and committed to meeting the needs of the client and the business.

You will join a close-knit studio to support the business in administration and sales.

An opportunity currently exists for an experienced Studio Administrator to take on full responsibility for the continued seamless operation of the office. The ideal person will have the ability to forward plan and have previous experience operating in environments where they are heavily relied upon to undertake a multitude of tasks.

In this role you will work closely with the Owner and be involved in all aspects of the business.

Some of your responsibilities, will include but not be limited to the following;

  • Assisting with the development of implementation of new administrative systems
  • Managing and resolving client queries
  • Producing high quality reports
  • Sales support and administrative task
  • Following up enquiries, quotations, orders and processing invoices
  • Tracking overseas orders and keeping clients up to date on ETA’s
  • Face to face client assistance
  • Assisting clients via phone and email
  • Scheduling

It is imperative that you possess a mature working style coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be self-motivated with high levels of initiative and a desire to be the back bone of a business. You will understand that in a small business flexibility is a key ingredient for success.

  • A high attention to detail
  • Experience using administrative and accounting software
  • The ability to multi-task
