The Team

Our busy and friendly team in our Sydney CBD office is seeking a Receptionist to support them on a part time permanent basis, three days per week. This role requires someone who is available to work from 8:15am to 5pm, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.


The Role

  • First point of contact to meet and greet our clients and other external parties
  • Answering of all telephone calls for the office
  • Liaising with walk in clients, addressing their enquires and referring them to the relevant area
  • Providing administrative support to the members of the Legal Team
  • Typing and amending of documents
  • Preparation of correspondence and documents
  • Support with general file management and general office administration (including telephone calls, mail requirements, photocopying, filing, stationery requirements, office purchases etc.)

Required Skills

  • Previous demonstrated experience in a reception-based role
  • Experience in a legal firm is highly desirable
  • Intermediate level computer skills, comfortable with MS Office
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with accuracy in typing and data entry
  • Strong work ethic and keen interest to learn
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to strive to always maintain good working relationships
  • Excellent presentation and phone manner

Please note that this role is a fixed term 12 month contract, with a possibility of extension or permanency for the right candidate, dependent on business needs.
