The Planning Support Coordinator’s (PSC) primary responsibility is to provide administrative
support to the Planning Department. This includes printing, tracking, coordination, closeout and
scanning of work packs in accordance with company policies and procedures in support of
maintenance tasks conducted by ASC and subcontractors.
The PSC’s will also be allocated to fulfill the Unscheduled Corrective Maintenance Coordinator
role which will be allocated to a Maintenance Period.
The PSC’s are also allocated any general administration work as required to support the
Maintenance Planning department.
Any other administration duties as directed by the Maintenance Planning Manager or Project
Planner Team Lead.
Responsibilities
- Ensure attention to detail wrt all tasks allocated / conducted.
- Provide positive customer service to allocated project team and planners iaw corporate
objectives. - Ensure work packs are accurately tracked and coordinated to ensure integrity with
location of packs. - Ensure all tasks are executed with professional courtesy and respect to all personnel.
- Ensure all activities are conducted with a “team” ethos and any issues are
communicated to other PSC’s to ensure continuous improvement with the PSC team. - Ensure work packs are printed and coordinated iaw project scheduled readiness
requirements. - Ensure all tasks are conducted iaw corporate processes and safe systems of work by
all personnel. Provide input and recommendations for progress improvements. - Planning department process review / updates as required
- Any planning administration tasks as required
- Data entry / KPI generation as required
- Filing and archiving of work packs and files as required.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Previous experience with coordination of files, work packs and or drawings in a
Maintenance environment. - Proven experience in a team oriented customer service environment.
- Demonstrable abilities in the complete Microsoft Office suite
- Organisational ability and Technical Research skills
- Coordination of large amounts of data and information into data bases & corporate
systems - Previous experience in Heavy Engineering, Maintenance, Mining, Oil & Gas, Defence
or Manufacturing is desirable - Ability to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously with limited supervision
