SALARY RANGE: $96,394 to $110,364 pa (plus 17% super)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time (36.75 hours per week) and fixed term for 12 months
LOCATION: Geelong Waterfront Campus
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role you will oversee the People Services team and provide high level executive support and advice to the Executive Dean, Faculty General Manager and other Senior Faculty members to assist in meeting the responsibilities of their positions, including the achievement of Faculty Operational Plan objectives and targets.
This will include:
- Providing high quality and authoritative advice to the Executive Dean, Faculty General Manager and other senior members of the Faculty on strategic and operational staff issues.
- Advising and assisting the Executive Dean and Faculty General Manager in the management of staff resources within the Faculty working in close partnership with the HR Client Partner.
- Implementing initiatives identified within the people and culture / workforce planning strategy and framework consistent with the overall objectives of the University.
- Leading and supporting the People Services team to ensure comprehensive management and delivery of stakeholder focused services and outcomes through a cohesive, team focused approach.
ABOUT YOU
- A tertiary degree and postgraduate qualification and/or extensive relevant experience or training.
- Demonstrated experience in the leadership and management of staff including staff development, performance planning and review, performance improvement and delegation of duties.
- Excellent management skills including the ability to provide advice at senior levels, to prioritise, monitor and evaluate work performance and flow.
- Proven expertise in the leadership and management of people and the application of performance management and team effectiveness processes and principles.
