An excellent opportunity exists for a Chinese Speaking Sales and Client Liaison Officer to join our Sales Team in Head Office, Brisbane CBD. This fulltime position involves interstate and international travel.
Working for a leading Australian Exporter of Livestock, the successful candidate must possess strong sense of responsibility and absolute integrity.

Strong written and oral communication and translation skills are a must as this role involves preparing sales and marketing documentation in both English and Chinese/Mandarin.
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following:
- Experience in Livestock Export Operations
- Proficiency in both English & Mandarin (translation and interpretation)
- Excellent customer service skills
- A good understanding of Mainland Chinese Culture
- Excellent administration and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail & capacity to ensure consistency in Standards
- Excellent personal presentation and a positive outlook and attitude
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- The capacity to work flexible hours (occasionally)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide support to the Regional Manager China
- Proactively gather policy, market and competitor information to inform management
- Identify profitable business opportunities for livestock in China market
- Proactively make sales/inquiry calls and visits to prospective buyers
- Play a key coordinating role in sales and marketing as well as execution of cattle shipments to China by working closely with Regional Manager China
- Facilitate China shipments execution
- Assist in the support and coordination in-market visits by staff and outbound visits by Chinese delegations and industry officials.
Qualifications
- Tertiary Qualifications in International Business/Trade
- Experience in Trading/Sales
- Experience in the preparation of contracts and sales documentation
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Must have working rights in Australia
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
