ABA Partners is a well-established Chartered Accounting practice located in West Melbourne (just near Flagstaff Station). Due to expansion, we require a level headed Office Manager who is able to take control of our administration function, whilst bringing their own ideas to continue development and management of practice growth.

This role is perfect for a person looking to add value and have influence on how things are done. The right candidate will be experienced and motivated to make a difference.

Key responsibilities of the role will include;

  • Overseeing day to day operations of the office
  • Client liaison
  • Reception duties (shared)
  • Diary management of Partners
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail/email
  • Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office
  • Database management
  • Bookkeeping
  • Preparation of client invoices
  • Management of debtors and reporting
  • Preparation of letters and external correspondence
  • Collation and binding of documents
  • Scanning and filing of documents
  • Kitchen and Boardroom management
  • Liaising with the suppliers

Experience in the following is highly desirable;

  • Handisoft
  • ATO Portal
  • Australian Business Register
  • ASIC Lodgements and preparation of associated minutes
  • Use of Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks and other accounting software
  • Set up of companies, trusts and superannuation funds
  • Strong IT knowledge to assist in managing practice resources
  • Strong technical working knowledge of Microsoft Office
