Bartercard is the operator of the world's largest trade exchange, which has built a presence in nine countries and is used by 55,000 cardholders around the world. We are growing our Australian business membership and looking to engage a self-driven, professional and motivated Member Services Administrator with a passion for finding business solutions.

In this role, you will focus on providing the highest level of customer service to our Members and Franchises, by taking full responsibility for enquiries on a first call resolution basis.

 

The role:

  • Provide excellent customer service for our Members and Franchises
  • Investigate and resolve Member and Franchise enquiries via phone, fax and email
  • Understand the needs of our customers and focus on achieving win-win solutions
  • Actively promote and up sell products and services which meet the customer’s individual requirements (eg. EFTPOS, Member Events)
  • Day to day administrative tasks and support to various departments
  • Actively participate in cross training and take responsibility for self-development

 

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience with inbound customer service and/or working in a call centre
  • Sales/Service and/or Administration experience highly advantageous
  • Intermediate or advanced MS Office skills, specifically Excel
  • Professional disposition and phone manner
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Effective negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team based environment
