We’re currently looking for a Business Development Consultant to be based with our dynamic team in Canberra.


About the role: 

The primary function of the role is to achieve and exceed sales targets to new and existing customers, and do whatever it takes to maximise all opportunities that drive the growth of LMAP's business through the proactive acquisition of new customers along with lead generation for programs and equipment sales to current customers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Achieve & exceed sales opportunities of Les Mills Live, Virtual programs
  • Achieve & exceed sales opportunities for Les Mills Equipment products
  • Advance sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets through creating and maintaining an opportunity pipeline
  • Proactively stay on top of industry trends or Group Fitness products
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of prospect interactions
  • Generate new leads through outbound/cold calling
  • Tactically plan your monthly sales strategy


 Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills & ability to build rapport 
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously to achieve targets
  • Exceptional communication and persuasion skills 
  • Tenacious and “never give up” approach
  • Previous sales experience, preferably from within the fitness industry
  • Ability to identify opportunities to cross/up-sell & promote Les Mills
  • Strong organisation & administration skills
  • Ability to understand and follow a sales system
  • Resilient and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Sound level of competency in Microsoft office applications
  • Strong organisation & administration skills
  • Work well in a team and able to work on your own initiative
  • Business Development minded
  • Experience in the fitness industry

Preferably you'll have experience of the Les Mills system and understand the benefits of Les Mills’ programs.
