Shellharbour City, located just 1 ½ hours south of Sydney, is home to almost 70,000 people in a city that spans 154 square kilometres. It's a place of great natural beauty - stretching west from the picturesque coastline to rolling pastures, against the majestic backdrop of the Illawarra escarpment.
Applications are invited for Casual Pool Lifeguards for the Shellharbour City Council controlled swimming pools for the 2018/2019 season, which runs from October 2018 to April 2019 and may be extended for future seasons.
The role:
This role is responsible for a wide range of duties including;
- Supervision of pool customers
- Carrying out cleaning and maintenance
We offer:
- Casual positions
- Commencing salary of $30.44 per hour
- Hours ranging from 5am to 11pm
- Penalties are paid in addition to the ordinary hourly rate of pay for Saturday/Sunday work.

- This position requires a "Working with Children Check" clearance in accordance with the 'Child Protection (WWC) Act 2012'.
- A First Aid Certificate is an essential requirement of this position, therefore no allowance is payable.
- As part of the recruitment process, you will need to pass a Lifeguard Competency Assessment.
