The Role

The City of Wanneroo is seeking applicants for a Cheerleading and Dance coach for the Junior Programs at Kingsway Indoor Stadium.

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to assist with the development, implementation and delivery of Community programs and activities.  Highly developed communication skills, prior experience, and a passion for coaching are essential for this role.

Interested candidates must possess the following:

 

• Working With Children Check
• First Aid Certificate
• National Police Certificate (less than 6 months old)

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with a positive, proactive approach to join our vibrant team.  If you are an enthusiastic Cheerleading, Gymnastics and / or Dance coach who can bring new ideas, and loves to work with children, this position is for you.

 

Applicants must also be able to demonstrate that they meet the following:

 

• Ability to teach / coach children of all ages
• Enjoy working with children of all ages
• Passionate and committed
• Punctual and reliable
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Available Monday to Friday after school hours and mornings (desirable)
• Experience working with children aged 2- 12 years old (desirable)

Applicants must be able to work outside normal business hours, including Sundays and Public Holidays.

  

Applicants may be required to undergo a medical assessment to determine their fitness to carry out the duties of this position.
