Between our Swim and Lifeguard teams, you could have a ray of opportunity for cross training across both areas of the business. You may be interested in Swimming but also want to have some exposure to the lifeguard role or vice versa. Well we are more than happy to offer you the opportunity of doing both.

Qualified or non-qualified, we are keen to speak with you!

Approximately 3 million patrons walk through our doors every year to use our facilities throughout NSW and the ACT and it's the best feeling to have knowing that you can leave work at the end of your shift and know that you have protected a life by being aware of your surroundings as a lifeguard.

We are now after the next generation of friendly, passionate and enthusiastic Lifeguards and or Swim Instructors to join our teams in these fun and rewarding roles. In addition to the satisfaction of protecting our patrons around the water, we offer:

To be successful in this role, you will come with

For Lifeguard

  • Current CPR
  • Current First Aid
  • Pool Lifeguard License

For Swimming Instructor

  • Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety License
  • CPR

Or we really don't mind if you just come with a great attitude and a motivation to want to be part of the Y and be the best you can be, as we will put any successful candidate through their qualifications!
