We are now getting ready for summer! That's right you read correctly, it's not even half way through winter and we are already looking for our next lot of Swimming Instructors to join our team. Why so soon you ask? Well we want to give you the best opportunity to succeed in your new role, and we want to give you as much training as possible. Why not come join the YMCA Swim School as a Swimming Instructor. You'll teach the Lifesaving skills of swimming and water safety!

A little about your new role

Our Swimming Instructors are a happy bunch, every day they are teaching young people the essential skill of swimming. They love seeing those big wide smiles each day, as the children splash around having fun, while gaining confidence and becoming safe in and around the water.

Every year YMCA NSW/ACT teaches over 17,000 children how to swim across our 12 aquatic centres throughout NSW & ACT. Our aquatic education programs and services are industry leading and renowned in the community.

What we need from you:

• The flexibility to work varied hours across the 7 days of the week
• A Commitment to attend scheduled course - Teacher of Swimming and Water safety (2days) which will also include and online component and prac hours at the location you are being hired for.
• Commitment to aquatic Safety

No qualifications are required!
