The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) is one of the nation’s premier sporting bodies, with a vision for cricket to be South Australia’s favourite sport and a sport for all South Australian’s. Operating within the sports and entertainment industry, SACA offers an exciting and dynamic working environment, and is responsible for overseeing and developing cricket on a State level. 

We are now seeking Casual Cricket Officers across South Australia and have multiple positions available.  

We are seeking people with energy, flair and passion for working with children who value sport and cricket’s vision of being Australia’s best sport and a sport for all Australians. No cricket experience required to apply.

As a Casual Cricket Officer, you will be required to:

  • Deliver cricket programs in junior and primary schools, cricket clubs and community groups
  • Assist on match days in the coordination and delivery of kids’ activities at and on Adelaide Oval, including at international matches and the W/BBL
  • Conduct practical and administrative tasks throughout the season as required by the SACA Community Cricket staff
  • Be available during the cricket season

 

About You

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate:

  • A great attitude
  • Energy, flair and a passion for working with and/or coaching children

It is essential that applicants have:

  • A current driver’s licence
  • Access to a registered and roadworthy vehicle
  • Current DCSI Background Check and Catholic Schools Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one

It is desirable that applicants have:

  • Comprehensive car insurance
  • Current first aid certification
