The Duty Manager objectives are the following: Lead rostered staff in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Maintain a broad knowledge of the facilities programs and services whilst providing a positive and enjoyable environment for the customers and staff
Oversee a busy recreation facility and provide leadership in the areas of customer service, occupational and patron health and safety, basic pool plant operations, cash handling and management, lifeguarding, café, dry program operations and general cleaning.

.Key Selection Criteria
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a recreational facility
- Multi-tasking and an ability to deal with a busy and demanding environment
- Excellent staff leadership, interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills
- Be committed to on-going personal and professional development and to maintain industry knowledge and professional skills at the highest level.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor adherence to health and safety policies and procedures within a team environment.
- Previous experience in plant room operations.
- Experience in maintaining pool plant and equipment
- First Aid Certificate and CPR.
- Pool Lifeguard Licence.
- Pool Operations Certificate.
- Advanced Resuscitation and External Defibrillator training.
- Manual Handling Certificate.
- Work place training and assessment qualifications.
- Police Check.
- Working with Children Check.
