We are currently seeking an experienced and driven person to provide leadership and direction to Recreation Services within the Shire, while delivering a range of sport and recreation services to meet the Shire’s diverse interests.
The Manager Recreation Services is an important strategic management role for the Council and reports to the Director Corporate & Community Services. This position provides strategic direction and operational leadership to the Eaton Recreation Centre and for broader recreational services, ensuring the successful delivery of objectives identified in the Corporate Business Plan.
This position requires a broad range of management and interpersonal competencies, together with extensive knowledge in managing a recreation and leisure service. You must have significant experience in developing and delivering sport and recreation initiatives, a strategic approach plus a proven ability in engaging key stakeholders and agencies to work collaboratively to build sustainable partnerships.
