The City of Stirling is looking for a motivated and experienced leader to join our Recreation and Leisure team as our Service Lead-Aquatic Services. This role, supported by three Assistant Facility Managers, manages all aspects of Aquatic service delivery and Facility Management for the city’s three Aquatic Facilities which service over 1.3 million visitors per annum.

The successful candidate for this role must be innovative, with strong leadership experience and contemporary knowledge of the Recreation and Leisure industry. You must have experience in developing strategic facility, financial and business plans and the drive to implement these across the Aquatic facilities. Business development and marketing experience is crucial, as is financial management and the ability to communicate successfully with a diverse range of stakeholders.

In addition, to be considered for this role, you’ll possess the following skills and/or qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Recreation or a related field.
- Current Health Dept. WA recognised technical operations certificate.
- Current Perform First Aid Certificate.
- ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
Prospective applicants must have significant recreation facility management experience to be considered for this role.
This is a permanent, full time position and offers an attractive remuneration package of $130,000 per annum including superannuation, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
