The primary role of the Fitness Director is to be responsible for the recruitment, supervision, training & development and associated management of all Rental Independent Contractors (rental trainers)
within their club. This will also include any fitness-related programs such as 12 week Challenge, Exercise
therapy, weight loss and any other programs that may be introduced into the business. The Fitness
Director will also be responsible for achieving budgeted revenues and cost lines, and also overseeing all
relevant systems and procedures are adhered to as per company guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility is to drive and grow the personal training culture within the club, thereby increasing the volume of results focused training in the club, and achieving all revenue targets.
Other responsibilities include:

Oversee your team of Personal Trainers

Recruit and Develop Trainers

Manage/achieve various revenue budgets

Make the industry leading 12 and 8 Week Challenges a booming success!

Ensure 100% trainer compliance
Requirements:
-
Extensive experience as a Personal Trainer (running your own business, min 5 years)
-
Strong sales acumen
-
Well developed interpersonal skills
-
Good organisational skills
-
Ability to motivate and inspire others
-
Understanding of the requirements of recruiting and retaining staff

Computer skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook

Management Experience
-
Attention to detail
Qualifications:
-
Certificate III & IV in Fitness
-
Registration with Fitness Australia
-
First Aid and CPR Certificate
-
Associated Insurances
