Kinder Gym Coach - YMCA Stafford

The YMCA of Brisbane is a leading community development organisation, which builds strong people, families and communities.

YMCA Kinder gym is a physical and social development program for children aged from walking to - 5 yrs., based on gymnastics skills and apparatus. Kinder gym kids learn to be stronger in body (motor skills, strength and coordination), mind (creativity, cognitive development and problem solving) and spirit (social development and confidence).

To be successful in this role previous gymnastics experience or a background in early childhood teaching is essential. The person will need to be available to work during school hours and afternoons.This is a casual position for 20-25 hours per week. This role will have a small component of reception duties as required.

• A positive and enthusiastic disposition
• Kinder gym qualifications   
• First Aid & CPR
• Blue Card for working with children
• Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail
• Experience working in a similar role and/or experience working with groups of children from 24 months to 18 years of age is desirable
• Administrative experience would be an advantage
