The National Rugby League (NRL) is the governing body of Rugby League in Australia. Our purpose is to bring people together for the best sports and entertainment experience. We aim to UNITE, EXCITE and INSPIRE.

The NRL currently has an opportunity for a Regional Game Development Manager – Northern NSW to join the Rugby League team and be part of the game's exciting future.

THE ROLE

Based in Northern NSW, you will manage and lead the delivery and implementation of game development plans and programs within the region to deliver on agreed outcomes and increase overall regional participation of Rugby League, in accordance with Game Development's Strategic Plan. 
 
This exciting role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity and challenge of managing a motivated team of six (6). You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to leverage existing programs, as well as lead recommendations to improve current processes in achieving the KPIs of the growing region. 
 
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The right candidate for this role will be self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic about Rugby League. You will be passionate about making a positive difference to people's lives. 

You will have the following skills experience, qualifications and knowledge:
  • Knowledge of Rugby League
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications combined with 5+ years of sporting industry experience
  • Experience in program development and project, people and budgetary management
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Communication skills to network and build effective relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Project, event and budget management expertise and experience;
  • Drivers' Licence;
  • Current Working with Children credentials.
