About the role

You will join the team as a Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer where you will assist, motivate, educate and enhance each member's experience. Through developing a rapport with our members, you will have an opportunity to build a clientele for Personal Training with support from our helpful and experienced Fitness Management team. We have a high demand for PT sessions and there are opportunities to build up hours quickly. Our PT's are employed by YMCA NSW and enjoy the many employee benefits that include not having to pay rent!      

To be considered for the role, you should be available to work a flexible roster across the 7 days of the week and hours of the business, especially evenings and weekend shifts that are available for Fitness Instructors.

About you

You have high energy, love working with people of all ages, and are motivated to deliver results for the people that you support. You see fitness as a career and are looking to join an organisation where you can grow and progress. In addition you will come with:

• Certificate 3 in Fitness
• Certificate 4 in Fitness (For Personal training)
• Current First Aid certificate
• Current CPR certificate
• Current AusREPS Registration (Fitness Australia)
• Current Working With Children Check

The UNSW Fitness & Aquatic Centre offers a range of fitness & aquatic programs for all ages & abilities across the student population, UNSW staff and the local community. The Centre's health club serves' over 4,500 members with more than 90 small group training and group exercise classes per week in addition to Personal Training and a full service gym floor.
