qualia, Hamilton Island’s exclusive award-winning 6 star luxury resort, offers a range of water activities and guided tours to our guests.  We are seeking a Coxswain to join our team.

About the Role

• Full-time permanent position
• Command 3 boats – RIB (6 m), Escape Beach (28ft) and Atomic (45 ft)
• Luxury beach set-up and guest drop-offs/pick-ups
• Sunset Charters and Whitehaven Beach tours
• Assist guests with a range of sporting equipment including kayaks, snorkels and SUPs
• Teach guests how to sail on one of our catamarans
• Clean and maintain all vessels and equipment
• Provide exceptional customer service to our guests and answer any queries

About You

• Open/unrestricted Driver Licence
• Coxswain
• RSA
• Advanced Resuscitation
• First Aid
• Comfortable doing water-based activities and be athletically inclined
• Ability to communicate with a diverse range of guests
• Previous experience working in a luxury environment an asset
