We are now looking for Lifeguards to join the Teams in ACT. We have 3 sites we are recruiting for, Gungahlin, Lakeside and Canberra Olympic Pool as we get ready for Summer! Yes you read correctly, its winter and we are already getting ready for summer? It's because we want to give you every reason to succeed in your new role, and offer you as much training as possible before the summer heat hits us again!

You might have interest in working in one of these locations, but here in ACT, all the facilities work together to achieve that same end result, so as a lifeguard in ACT you may be required to work across any of the 3 sites mentioned above.

A little about the Lifeguard role:  

They are focused in public safety and making sure that our patrons are safe while they use our facilities. They love seeing those big wide smiles each day, as patron's splash around having fun in our pools, while gaining confidence and becoming safe in and around the water, that's not all they do, they are there to watch even the elite swimmers and make sure they are safe whilst using the pools.  Identifying potential risk factors and taking steps to reduce those risks, lifeguards are positive role models in an effort to build strong people, strong families and strong communities.

Approximately 3 million patrons walk through our doors every year to use our facilities throughout NSW and the ACT and it's the best feeling to have knowing that you can leave work at the end of your shift and know that you have protected a life by being aware of your surroundings as a lifeguard.

• Current CPR (Desirable)
• Current First Aid (Desirable)
• Pool Lifeguard License (Desirable)
