About the Centre:
The University of New South Wales Fitness & Aquatic Centre is proudly managed by the YMCA. The centre offers a variety of aquatic and fitness facilities and programs for all ages and abilities. The centre welcomes UNSW students and staff, as well as the general public.
The Centre is a Five Star NSW Water Safety Partner, awarded by the Royal Life Saving NSW Society. It has a fully equipped Health Club, over 70 Group Fitness Class, Learn to Swim and Squad programme, Indoor Stadium and Creche for UNSW students, staff and members of the public to enjoy.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic, passionate and experienced Fitness Instructors who will also be willing and committed to undertake Personal Training sessions at our UNSW site.
About the role:
As a Fitness Instructor you will be required to conduct fun, safe, engaging classes within format guidelines. As a Personal Trainer you will bring your experience and ability to motivate members whilst providing your own unique skills. The Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer is available and expected to motivate, educate and enhance each participant's experience.
Not only will you run sessions, but you will be the face on the gym floor, where members can come to you for any questions or assistance they may need while using the facility. Through developing a rapport with participants through excellent customer service, the Fitness Instructor fosters a commitment to improve health and wellbeing.
What you will come with:
Certificate III in Fitness
Certificate IV in Fitness
Current First Aid
Current CPR
Fitness Australia Registration
