The Company
Golf Services Management (GSM) are a well established golf management company with more than 30 years experience operating within the golf industry. We are currently managing several golf courses in Victoria and Queensland including Morack Public Golf Course & Driving Range. Morack is a City of Whitehorse sports and leisure facility, located in Vermont South.
The Role:
Based at Morack, you will be involved in all aspects of retail and sports (golf) management. Responsibilities will include:
- Customer Service;
- Operating Point Of Sale System; and
- Taking and maintaining golf bookings;
About You:
Experience within a similar role will be highly regarded but full training will be provided. You will have:
- Some experience within a retail environment;
- Understanding and knowledge of golf;
- Understanding of timesheet bookings will be highly regarded;
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to provide quality service to a diverse range of customers;
- Proactive and energetic nature; and
- Ability to work within a team;
The applicable award for this position is the Amusements, Events & Recreation Award and the successful applicant will commence under a Grade 2 classification remuneration.
This role will work within a rotating roster and will include weekend and evening work. Some flexibility exists for fixed shifts to be offered to applicants interested in part-time work.
