About RSPCA WA

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) WA is the state's leading voice in animal welfare.  Together, our team works diligently toward preventing animal cruelty.

About this opportunity

Calling all dog whisperers! The dog training team at RSPCA is looking for people interested in joining their all new team. There are several roles across multi-locations in Perth.

Role statement

Dog Trainers are responsible for delivering a programme of classes to members of the general public, in accordance with the RSPCA national guidelines, principles and curriculum. The Dog Trainer will be responsible for running and coordinating their classes once the course has commenced, but will be supported by a Dog Training Coordinator and a central booking and communications database.

This role helps reduce the likelihood of animals finding their way into a shelter by helping owners form a stronger bond with their pet, and ensuring pets are set up to succeed in a home.
