Salary: Level A: $69,148 - $93,830 p.a.
Level B: $98,775 - $117,290 p.a. plus 17% superannuation
Level of appointment will be determined by the level of achievement of the applicant
This is a unique opportunity to become part of the multi-disciplinary research, consultancy and teaching team within the Mackinnon Project at the Melbourne Veterinary School, Werribee, within the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences, the University of Melbourne.
As a Veterinary or Agricultural scientist, you will provide whole farm consultancy advice to clients of the Mackinnon Project, either under supervision (Level A) or independently after a short mentoring period (Level B). You will also provide research and farmer education activities that are a core part of the Mackinnon work program and the Faculty’s engagement with the livestock sector.
They position will also involve teaching of veterinary students as part of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, including the use of case material sourced from consultancy activities.
