The Response and Landscape Maintenance role is required to respond to customer service requests that are of an urgent nature (eg. safety concern or immediate hazard), and to assist in the maintenance of landscape assets throughout the municipality.
The ideal candidate will have:
- demonstrated experience in the maintenance and repair of various types of Council assets and infrastructure, associated with the key responsibilities of the position.
- experience in gardening with skills and knowledge relevant to landscape and general parks maintenance.
- the ability to set priorities, plan and co-ordinate works to achieve response objectives, coupled with landscape maintenance responsibilities.
- a sound knowledge of horticultural practices, associated plant/equipment and a demonstrated ability to use this knowledge in the field.
- current Victorian Medium Rigid Truck Licence
