Located just 3kms North of Cowra, NSW, Mulyan Pty Ltd is an innovative and progressive, privately owned mixed agricultural business.  Enterprises include but are not limited to broadacre cereal production, livestock fattening and intensive vegetable row cropping with operations spanning primary production, grading, processing, packing and marketing.

To support the business’s next phase of development we are looking for an experience production manager to join the team. Your key responsibilities would include:

• Co-ordinating the harvest, grading, processing and packing of vegetable crops in line with established primary production schedules and customer demand plans
• Managing the day to day activities in the factory including washing, grading, processing, packing, inventory management and preventative maintenance
• Inducting, training and managing the field harvest and factory labour
• Refine and oversee WHS and QA systems and processes

To be successful in the role, you will ideally possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

• Have significant experience on managing / supervising a food processing and / or manufacturing facility
• Familiar and comfortable working in an industrial workplace in close proximity to plant and equipment indoors and in the field
• Have extensive experience on leading and managing both permanent and itinerant workforce in a food processing and / or manufacturing environment
• Ability to engage and work effectively with staff for whom English is not their first language
• Capable of working in a fast paced environment with a can do attitude
• Team player with a real appetite for making a big contribution to a small but passionate team
• Ability to work flexible hours during peak harvest periods

Remuneration for the right candidate will be based upon relevant qualifications and experience.
