They are looking for suitable candidates that are familiar with agricultural environment and extensive horse riding experience for the role of Pen Rider.
The Position is for Comet, QLD
Tasks may include:
- Processing livestock
- Ridding pens
- Drafting cattle
- Acclimating cattle
- Looking for sick cattle
- Work in the inductions and processing cattle
- Any other duties as directed by the host employer
Skills:
- Must be fit
- Must be able to work un supervised
- Must be physically fit to work long hours
- Must have a car
- Desirable: person with cattle handling skills
- Must be able to ride a horse
- Must have 2 to 3 horses and tack which are Hendra vaccinated
