THE COMPANY

ROLE
Your main responsibility as Farming Manager is the coordination and management of the growing and harvesting of forage crops for the feedlot and properties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for a focus on continuous improvement with focus on quality, input optimisation and land management. You will liase with the Agronomist, contractors and staff so good communication and time management is essential. Management of data and information in relation to inputs and general management of staff is a part of the job so computer skills are necessary. With your enthusiasm and passion you will be a proactive driving force in achieving the company goals and targets and in developing new business opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge and experience in forage production, land management, staff management and safety.
- Proactive and driven to succeed
- Great communicator
- Creativity, planning and organizing are your strongest points
LOCATION
The position is based in the Roma area.
