Fox Dairies started farming in 1990 and is a major supplier of milk to Bega Cheese. It switched to dairy in 2010 and has since quadrupled in size, increasing from 1 farm to 3 irrigated dairy farms plus another farm for growing out the replacement young stock. We anticipate growing at the same speed in the future so can offer excellent promotional opportunities. We prefer to train people from the ground up in our modern open farming system, in an environment that has a healthy and positive culture.

We are looking to employ a motivated leader, with great people skills, to grow over time into a stand-alone  Manager. This is a hands-on and developing role with your involvement in innovation, strategy and decision-making increasing as you demonstrate proven effectiveness. It's also a great opportunity to learn every aspect of running a successful farming operation. As well as milking you will work alongside the manager and be involved in activities such as staff rostering,  budget-tracking, coordinate service providers, compiling  management reports, updating herd records and improving milk production and quality. As the performance of this business is measured on a daily basis via milk production and milk quality, you will be able to track and measure your impact on business improvement.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has excelled in the past and is looking to grow their skills and knowledge in the dairy industry.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience and achievement.
  • Excellent communicator with a genuine interest in people.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Tertiary degree in any discipline desirable.
  • Demonstrated achievement in any field.
  • Genuine, demonstrated interest in dairy farming.
  • Understanding of working with livestock desirable, but not essential.
