About the business
Our client Local Tree Care have been established in the Albury Wodonga region for 20 years providing all aspects of tree maintenance services including tree removal and pruning together with stump removal, pest and disease treatments, planting trees and so forth. Their core strengths primarily are the quality of service they provide and ensuring their staff have a positive and safe working environment.
About the role
As a trainee climbing Arborist you will initially be working as part of the ground crew but will progress to become proficient in climbing and the provision of various tree pruning and removal techniques. The position is labour intensive and involves climbing and working at heights to remove, prune and maintain trees.
Within this 24 month full time Traineeship, you will complete Certificate III in Arboriculture - AHC30816 and gain exceptional on the job training.

- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with a diverse customer base
- Self-motivated and committed to completing a 24 month traineeship
- A passion for the outdoors and physically fit
- Honesty, reliability, trust and respect towards clients and fellow employees at all times
White Card and Driver’s Licence are required for the role; manual licence is preferred.
MR Licence, First Aid and Chemical User’s Certificate would be highly regarded but not required.
