Our Client:

Our client is one of the largest and commercial successful horticulture businesses in Australia. With multiple assets across Australia, this group is rightly recognised a true national success story. We are currently searching for a Farm Operations Manager to drive one of their farms in Tumbarumba, in New South Wales. Tumbarumba is approximately one hour’s drive from the regional city of Wagga-Wagga.


The Position:

On a daily basis, the successful candidate will be responsible for all farm operations and activities. This will include, but not be limited to: training, task allocation, business improvement and budget management. The Farm Operations Manager will also assist with driving the operational and financial performance of the business whilst consistently mitigating operational risk such as pests and diseases. The position incorporates the use of a wide range of people leading skills including planning, recruitment, mentoring, and quality assessment.


Requirements:

The role requires a highly motivated leader with proven senior management skills and experience gained from a high intensity people-lead operational environment. Specific skills and experience of one or more of horticulture, agronomy and or farm management is considered critical to your success in this position. Most importantly, you are an astute and dependable manager with a talent for planning and project execution.
