About the role:
Lead the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve Guiding Program by coordinating tour bookings, executing learning strategies and develop guided walk initiatives.
Be responsible for the efficient and effective administration of the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve Rainforest Discovery Centre and the Centre’s operations and services and selected events; and to provide professional advice to volunteers, staff and the community in regard to environmental issues.
About you:
You’ll be a highly motivated professional, with a love for the natural environment and developing imperative initiatives within it.
You’ll be a strategic communicator with a strong customer focus, with demonstrated ability to connect with the community, and create positive relationships with volunteers and stakeholders.
Additionally, you will have tertiary qualifications Environmental Education, Environmental Management and/or related discipline. You will also have experience in implementing education and interpretive programs relevant to environmental management and volunteers. Capacity to work weekends is mandatory to be successful in this role.
